Project Profile

The acquisition of the 1,029sqm site with existing three storey commercial block by Harbour Claremont Pty Ltd provided the opportunity for the expansion of Iglu Student Accommodations across Australia with its second Student Accommodation facility in South Yarra.

Icon Co. appointed Codicote in 2017 to undertake construction advice and construction planning services including delivery strategy and logistics for their Iglu South Yarra tender submission.

The project involved challenging conditions and traffic management considerations, which was a core aspect in understanding the project. Constrained traffic and site access options with limited available space onsite allowed our in-house builders experience to use their knowledge to develop a robust delivery strategy culminating in the successful award of Iglu South Yarra to Icon Co.
