Project Profile

Marina Quays is a four level apartment tower located at Wyndham Harbour Marina in Werribee South. The building consists of 104 apartments with a range of one, two and three bedrooms, 1,000sqm of retail tenancies and includes on-grade car parking. The building includes a range of natural and durable materials, appropriate for a marine environment to present medium quality finishes appropriate for the area.

Codicote was engaged as Client Project Manager for the design, tender and delivery phase of the project. Codicote provided construction advice and construction planning / programming, which led to Codicote successfully negotiating a five month reduction to the tendered construction programme. This provided early income for the owners.

The apartment site directly adjoins the marina, which was being constructed at the same time as Marina Quays Apartments. Careful negotiation between the two contractors was required to ensure the smooth running of the parallel projects and to make sure that there were no omissions or overlaps in the scope of works of each contractor.

Codicote was engaged to manage all defects post practical completion. This role included defect identification and the successfully coordination of the review and resolution of all outstanding defects in conjunction with the Contractor and Principal.

Based on the successful delivery of Marina Quays Apartments Project, Codicote was awarded the role of Client Project Manager for the second apartment building at Wyndham Harbour, The Lighthouse.
